Pastor Matt has served churches in Florida and Michigan but is glad to be back in Tennessee. Matt met his wife Keri at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee where they both earned bachelor’s degrees. Matt also received a Masters degree from Trevecca in 2007. Pastor Matt and Keri have four children; Bailee, Emily, Matthew & William. Pastor Matt is passionate about people. He loves golfing, playing guitar and almost any spicy food.
Pastor Matt says, “God is using ordinary people to accomplish His purpose and we are part of that purpose here at Grace Church. I want to encourage people of any age to be used by Him. God is still writing the story and I’m glad to be part of it.”
Geron and his wife Lydia came to Chattanooga Grace Church in March 2005. Geron leads and plans our worship gatherings at Grace. In addition to directing the choir and overseeing the sound and projection, he administrates the website and assists Pastor Matt in leading our daycare chapel. Geron adds so much behind the scenes to ensure that ministry can happen.
Geron and Lydia met in college while studying music. They have been married for seven years and have two children, Cora and Cohen. In addition to working at DuPont elementary with the Kindergarteners, Lydia is one of our very gifted piano accompanists and youth group Sunday School teachers.
Geron and Lydia are a crucial element to our success here at Grace Church.
